Flourishing in the Moment: A Call to Wholeness
Many of us are overwhelmed with the daily events we face. This course teaches ways to stay grounded in each moment while living life fully so it doesn't overwhelm us. Yes, this is possible!
As part of a supportive community, we will talk about how we can be conscious and aware of our reality. Rooted in wholeness, we gain the capacity to keep perspective and act from a place of clarity and purpose.
This six-week course of live classes starts on 23 April 2025. Each week's content opens at Noon, US Eastern Time, and 6 p.m. CET. Those live sessions will be recorded and available in the course.
The course will have an on-going forum for discussion and support.
Instructors
Jan Byars, PhD
Jan is a conscious visionary, values-based leader and author. Her work is to hold transformational space. She helps individuals and organizations expand capacity through science, psychology and Spirit. Jan focuses on creating individual balance and clarity to increase her client’s impact in the world. Her teaching integrates critical intra-personal capacities for immediate, real-life application.
She has been presenting internationally since 2006. She holds a Ph.D. in Leadership and Organizational Change, is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, a trained mediator, and a Certified HeartMath® Coach. Her new book is: A Call to Wholeness: Empowering Organizations through Possibility.

Course Objectives
Learn practical skills to move more consciously into our challenging reality, strengthening our ability to act with clarity.
Learn to sit in this moment knowing and feeling our interconnected Whole.
Through a supportive community, join with like-minded and like-hearted people.
Increase awareness of your own resistance and begin accepting that and allowing it to soften.
Course Outline (By Week)
Understanding we have a choice in how we show up. Overview of course and general review of science and psychology that will be presented. Practices to interrupt the biochemical cascade of fear/anxiety to allow us to begin to hold steady.
Deeper into the science and the importance of operating from Heart/Mind/Body. Deeper into the physiology of being triggered and overwhelmed. More practice in how to shift attention and begin to rewire our body to withstand uncertainty.
Practice and Community. Prompted discussions in small groups to further everyone's experience and connection. The course forum will also allow expression and exploration.
Facing our Resistance and shifting our perspective to greater interconnection. Releasing attachment to our views and certainty of being right. Deeper practice.
In Undivided Wholeness the solution exists. Learning to listen more deeply to the knowing within. Like the creative knowing of an artist, inspired action is deep and expansive. The better we recognize it the better we will align with this valuable guidance.
Practice and Community. Prompted discussions in small groups to further everyone's experience and connection, along with contemplative practices to take the learning deeper. Course wrap-up, focus on carrying the course material forward in your own lives.
